Synopsis
Story Explanation
I will be creating a music video of the song Summertime By Ella Fitzgerald and it will be Narrative – Based. The story will be about a boy who goes on holiday to mexico and falls in love with a girl who is a waitress. I think this will be a good idea for my music video because I want to make the story a unique experience for my target audience. My story also shows I am breaking down ethnicity relationships as I want the female character to have a different nationality.
Technical Explanation
I have decided to do my music video style in the style of animation. I have decided to do this because I want to try a different style of film making for my product. The animation will be hand drawn to.
Sound will have the most important technical focus for my product because I want to increase my skills in sound for this product I am creating. The camera angles and editing will have secondary focuses.
Old Mood Board
Below, you will be able to view a mood board I have created for my music video. This shows my creative vision for my music video. For example, I have included a colour pallet of different colours related to summer this will help me think of shot ideas when I am doing my storyboard or for my colour grading in post production.
Another example, is an image of two people holding each other’s hands. I have included this because it will be a shot that will be used in my product.
