These two Mind map pages show my ideas for my tv show.
2. Treatment
Title – My title for my TV show will be called ‘film4fans’. I have decided this title for my show because this will be a tv show dedicated to film news, reviews and other dissuasion’s about films. I have decided to use the word ‘fans’ because anyone can be a fan of this show and be interested in what my show has to offer.
Synopsis – My show is based around reviewing and promoting upcoming films. There will also be a film news section in my product.
Format – My show will be broadcasted live and it will be distributed on my blog and youtube channel.
Estimated duration – My tv product will last for an estimated 30 minutes.
Budget – There is no budget for my tv show.
Rationale – My product relates to the scenario because it promotes and talks about upcoming film products. It is important that my target audience is informed about the topics that are being talked about on my show.
Target Audience – Based on my primary research TV survey results. I am going to aim my show at a male and female audience. I have decided to aim my show at both genders because a majority of men answered my survey and I want to aim my show at a diverse audience.
Presenting Style – I have decided to use a comedic and informative style for my presenter because based on all my primary research results a lot of my target audience wanted a host with a comedic presenting style. I have chosen the informative style because I believe it will help balance out the presenter’s personality.
Feasibility – My tv show will be using JVC TV cameras in the studio. I will also be using a JVC to film my VTs.
3. Set Design + Floor plan

4. Influence
An influence for my show will be the BBC’s ‘film show’. This show promotes upcoming films. The show invites a special guest too. For example, the actor who plays the leading role or the film director.
I have chosen this show as my influence because I want my show to promote films to the target audience.
A presenter I have chosen for my tv show is the iconic ‘Barry Norman’. I have chosen this presenter for my tv show because he has a good sharp informative style that can help viewers understand about the films. Barry Norman’s dry humour style will be helpful for my presenter too.

Below, you will find my updated TV Script. This script still has the same lines for my presenter and guests, but some of the lines have been replaced as they are unnecessary for the final product.
11. VT Plan
For my two VT’s , I plan on doing a Voxpops of people’s thoughts on films.
1st VT – This VT will be a Voxpop of people’s opinions on films they have recently watched.
2nd VT – This VT will be another Voxpop but this will be people telling the audience about their favourite media entertainment story of 2017.
For the equipment me and my teammate will be using a JVC Camera and lighting stand.

14. VT Location Recce Safety Check – Interview Room
Sockets
In this interview room you can see the sockets that can be used for plugging in equipment. A hazard that could happen is if the socket becomes faulty then it could cause an electric shock or a fire. To avoid this hazard the sockets must be replaced if they become damaged and a safety check must happen before any equipment can be plugged in.
Roof Tiles
The roof tiles in the interview room are very strong and stable. However a hazard that could occur is if the roof tile is unstable then it could fall down and cause a serious injury. Another hazard that could occur is if there is any debris lying around anywhere then a person could slip and hurt themselves.
To avoid these two hazard’s the roof tiles must be checked before filming can happen. If there is any debris lying around anywhere it must be cleared before any one else enters the room.
Carpet
The carpet in the interview room is very clean and has no filth around anywhere. However, a hazard that could happen is if the carpet becomes filthy then it will cause more microbes to grow on the carpet and cause people to become sick because of the filthy atmosphere.
To avoid this hazard the carpet must be cleaned before filming can happen.
Conclusion
To summarise, the interview room is a great place to film a VT and has a good amount of space. However,the room must be checked and cleaned before any filming can begin.
