Target Audience – Our radio show is aimed at all age groups because we want enough people to listen to our radio show and donate money which will raise money for Comic relief. Moreover, we will be playing comic relief songs which will appeal to our target audience and using older songs will keep the older target audience engaged.

Style –  Our show will have two styles which will be comedy and reflective. The comedic style of our show will be present when we are playing games and talking after our music breaks. The reflective style of show will be included in our speech based package and when talking about serious topics on our show.

Estimated duration – We will do a short introduction to our show and play a game before doing our speech package. Our radio show will have 3 games will last for 2 minutes and the songs will last for no more than 2 minutes. Moreover, our show will last for 30 minutes.

Songs – We have chosen a mixture of old and modern comic relief songs for our show because we want the songs to appeal to different ages and make sure we keep our target audience entertained.

Title – We choose to name our show the Comic zone because we were inspired by comic relief to make our radio show entertaining, serious and informative.

Format – We will upload our rehearsals and final product using Sound cloud.

Influence

Rob from Capital Birmingham  engages well with his target audience. He is very informative when speaking  about topic so he can keep viewers interested. Moreover, Rob is very positive on his show and wants his audience to be just as positive as he is.

He is my influence because I want to keep my audience interested when I am talking on our show. In addition, I want to keep positive on my show to because it will make our target audience happy.

Risk Assessment

Below is a word document for  the risk assessment which I have created  which evaluates hazards about  the radio studio and rooms used to record: jingles, idents and speech based packages. In addition, I have written control  measures to outweigh any risks.

Speech based package

For our radio show, I created a speech based package script and it will have information about comic relief and what people can do to donate. The recording will be done using a zoom mic and the audio voice will be provided by my team mate Spencer.

Comic Zone 1st Rehearsal

1st Rehearsal Evaluation – 01/02/2017

To start with, Spencer presented the radio show with a lot of enuthaisum and commitment. Spencer did his best to understand our show’s scehdule too. In addition , I felt happy with my accomplisments too. I felt the biggest accompisment I achieved was waiting patinely to talk in Spencer’s conversation about Comic relief. This is because, in my last project I recieved feedback from my lecturer on how I should improve my talking skills in radio. My lecturer told me I must be patient and not interput someone when their talking about their thoughts on a topic as it could poteinally disrput the show . I felt that I have improved my talking skill’s  in this project’s rehersal and it did not create any distruptions.

An improvemnt I would like to make for my 2nd rehersal and final show, is to express my opnion more on topics such as comic relief. I felt in my first rehersal that i didnt have enough time to express my opnion because of the show’s schedule. For me, to improve I must understand the schedule on our show. In addition, I will remaind Spencer about how long I will express my opnion on a topic.
